Samuel Adams

Research Areas

 Dr. Adams joined the finance faculty at Loyola in 2024. His research focuses on financial intermediation and regulation with an emphasis on international bank risk management, governance and regulation. His current research analyzes how risk management regulation and practices in financial institutions across the globe help mitigate future financial crises. His previous research examined the impact of zero commission stock trading on retail investor trading costs and has been cited by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Congressional Research Service.
