Loyola’s department of communication recognized by PRNEWS

91Թ’s department of communication was named to the by PRNEWS, which provides news and networking for the public relations industry. The Education A-List recognizes the 50 best institutions for career advancement in public relations and marketing communications.

“This recognition reflects the incredible faculty in our department and the work they are doing in creating and supporting the next generation of communication professionals,” said Sara Magee, Ph.D., associate professor and chair of Loyola’s department of communication. “We are excited and honored to know that the Jesuit education our students are getting through our program and at Loyola overall is one that is creating notice in the public relations and marketing communication world and helping our students obtain and be successful with their careers in the communication field.”

Loyola’s department of communication offers majors, interdisciplinary majors, and minors in communication with specializations in advertising and public relations, digital media, journalism, and media and society. The department’s online Master of Arts in emerging media prepares students to assess innovation and trends in communication, develop and execute strategies to capitalize on new media opportunities, and evaluate their impact.
